Forest of Reading Senior Book Club (Grades 3 - 6) In-Person
Join the Forest of Reading at Brockville Public Library! This senior book club is for students in grades 3 - 6. Participants will choose from a selection of fiction and nonfiction books and will read their selections independently at home between meetings. During book club meetings, we will discuss our thoughts on each book, track our reading, and, at the final meeting in April, cast our votes on our favourite books! Youth across Ontario participate and submit their votes to help determine the winning books each year.
Please do your best to attend all six meetings. Children are to attend the program independently, but we do ask that caregivers stay within the library or provide a phone number where they can be reached for the duration of the program. Because books are borrowed from the library and read independently, this program does require a valid library card. Library cards are free to for all Brockville residents and students attending school in Brockville.
